Account Transfers
Record a transfer of funds from one account to another in the chart of accounts — such as withdrawing cash from the drawer into the bank, or a transfer between two branches.
Go to Accounts → Account Transfers and click Create:

Fields
- From Branch / To Branch: (required) supports transferring between accounts of two different branches, not necessarily the same one.
- From Account: (required) any "posting" account in the chart of accounts — not necessarily a cash account (it can be a customer, supplier, or expense account).
- To Account: (required).
- Amount: (required).
- Note: optional free text.
- Date: (required) defaults to today.
Notes
- The transfer creates a debit movement on "From Account" and a matching credit movement on "To Account", keeping the chart of accounts balanced.
- To move stock between two warehouses, use Stock Transfers instead of this page.
- For a more complex accounting entry (more than two parties, or different classifications), see Journal Entries.
